Software Development Manager – Edinburgh

We are looking for a Software Development Manager to join a growing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and have real influence on company.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Experience of designing full stack architectures.
  • An API-first approach
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong foundation in security best practices
  • Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum
  • JavaScript
  • Git

Duties

  • Leading the team to plan and deliver projects based on client requirements.
  • Effectively manage resources, stakeholder expectations.
  • Contribute to the architecture and delivery of projects.
  • Lead, support and provide line management to the development team.
  • Provide regular feedback and status of projects to customers as well as the internal management team.
  • Mentor and nurture developers across different levels of experience
  • Own the Performance Review process for direct reports.
  • Design, propose and deliver solutions to business problems.
  • Testing, bug finding and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure robust documentation is present.
  • Managing AWS setup

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
