Mid-level Back-End Developer – Edinburgh

We are looking for a Mid-level Back-End Developer to join a growing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business working on exciting projects.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Strong foundation in security best practices
  • JavaScript
  • Git
  • Developing back-end code in line with best practice
  • Writing unit tests
  • Testing, bug finding and troubleshooting.
  • Documentation
  • Managing AWS setup

Duties

  • You will write secure, standards-driven code.
  • Your particular focus will be on writing and integrating with APIs for internal and external-facing systems.
  • The bulk of our codebase is in Javascript, however Python knowledge may also be advantageous.
  • We have a strong preference for in-depth experience of AWS – in particular, using microservices and setting up APIs.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £35,000 – £50,000
