Credit Risk Manager – Strategy

Are you an experienced Credit Risk Manager who has taken the lead on Credit Risk/Collections strategy? Do you have experience handling and analysing complex internal and credit bureau data?

Consult Energy are working with an exciting client in the Midlands who are looking for a Credit Risk Manager to focus on credit risk and collections strategy improvements. If you think this sounds like you, take a look at the details below.

Credit Risk Manager – Strategy: What you’ll be doing?

  • Making informed changes to the credit and collections strategy in order to optimise performance and improve customer journey.
  • Solve commercial problems using data analysis and report on key credit risk concerns.
  • Support with a number of projects across multiple teams to align changes.
  • Identify trends using internal and external data, derive insights, and present findings to management.

Credit Risk Manager – Strategy: What you will need to know?

  • Strong background in the Credit Acquisition/Collections journey and making strategy changes within it.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including manipulating data, identifying trends, and utilising credit bureau data. Any experience with tools such as SQL would be useful.
  • Experience driving efficiencies, monitoring performance, recommending changes, and working under pressure to achieve targets.
  • Telecoms or Energy industry experience would be useful.

Location: Midlands (with some flexible working)

Salary: £52,000 – £57,000
