Business Analyst- Milton Keynes

Our client is one of the UK’s newest residential energy suppliers and they are now looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their growing UK team. This role requires an individual who has utilities experience and can deliver detailed expert business analysis whilst effectively supporting the change required by the business.

Key Activities:

  • Identification, shaping & scoping of all appropriate analysis activities on a project, including the detailed output documentation required.
  • Partner with business groups to design and refine business processes to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Analyse business challenges and design practical, attainable solutions that enhance the opportunities available to customers and the business.
  • To utilise best practice tools and techniques to aid communication and understanding, ensuring project documentation is fit for purpose.

Main responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively drive the definition of change, taking ownership / accountability for ensuring that end to end scope and impacts of change are understood by all affected parties.
  • Support and adhere to the governance process underpinning the Business Change team’s project delivery lifecycle
  • Proactively work with the project or programme manager in a collaborative manner to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables or programmes of work

The successful Business Analyst will have comprehensive knowledge of development life cycles – Agile, waterfall and hybrids, a strong understanding of energy industry regulation and policy whilst also having the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and with all backgrounds – internally and externally.
