Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst – Data Analytics, you will help design and build our new Data & Analytics platform.
We need someone with detailed knowledge of utility (power/gas/water) data, analytics requirements, and operational and strategic reporting. The focus for the role will be identifying the critical analytical outcomes for utility clients and specifying the detailed requirements for the engineering teams to facilitate and product which delivers next level reporting and provide the cornerstone for our AI implementation.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Operational
- Analyse product requirements and support build of backlog
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to understand variety of use cases
- Obtain constructive feedback from stakeholders to enhance quality of end client solution
- See the big picture and design the end-to-end solution based on the product roadmap and business requirements.
- Leverage your deep utilities knowledge to drive cutting edge outcomes
- Guiding internal and external development teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements.
- Support the definition of departmental KPIs across our customer base.
Requirements
- Extensive utilities experience
- Deep domain knowledge of operational and/or strategic KPI monitoring
- Likely experience as a Business Analyst, operations manager, commercial/strategy/financial/MI analyst.
- Quick learner, team player, self-starter, great prioritisation and time management skills.
- Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Great stakeholder management skills, capable of communicating with a variety of internal and external parties
Customer Service
- Producing business requirements to support development of POCs and demos
- Support and present demos to clients
- Gather requirements from clients.
- This may require out of hours work to facilitate international clients and cross department stakeholders
