Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant – What will you do:
- Prepare and deliver month end reporting in a timely and accurate manner
- Posting of accruals and prepayments, reconciling balance sheet positions
- Variance and insight analysis of data against budgets and forecasts
- Work closely with a Finance Business Partner to improve effectiveness and efficiency of reporting
Assistant Accountant – What will you need:
- Experience in a similar position within accountancy and finance
- Excellent knowledge of fundamental accounting skills (accruals, prepayments, journals etc)
- A desire to progress and study ACCA/CIMA (study support is provided)
- Strong analytical skills (Advanced MS Excel skills preferable)
Location: Coventry – hybrid working available (1-2 days a week in office)
Salary: £24,000 – £30.000
